How to change date format

 In the page where the author can edit its story there are the updated and created story dates in this American format: yyyy/mm/dd.

I whish to edit this format in european way: dd/mm/yyyy

Which files do I have to edit and how?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

 massimiliano, if it's not picking up the date format from the global joomla settings, then I would think it could be a setting in the eWriting control panel.

Sorry, but I don't have a working copy to check at the moment (I've taken them all off line). I don't remember any of my authors saying it was a problem (we use european settings too) so I suspect either global settings or the eWriting config.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
