 Hello, good news for all!!

I made hacked Joomla 1.2.1 by a freelancer of the site www.joomlancers.com.

Currently ewriting 1.2.1 is not upgraded for more than 1 year and servers and OS meantime are developing very fastly, as a consequence ewriting is going to become obsolete.

Before, I was unable to make work ewriting in my new server. A lot of PHP errors appeared, I was unable to create new categories and in control panel, clicking on the options, it didn't bring to the requested page.

Now it works fine.

Be careful to make tests in a test Joomla cms before you install it in the real cms you are using.

Tell me if it was good for you and if you find out bugs so I can make hacked it once again.

It's a great thing to keep this unique extension alive!

PS: you made this hacked version as an update patch or were you aware of the security issue too and asked to a fixing attempt? Just curious and willing to test.

PS2: Does it include the patches? (guess it does)

 Today, 20 Apr 2008 I fixed 2 bugs of my precedent release:

- Search option didn't work: Fixed
- Rate system presented some problems: Fixed

For new realease simply download again the file above (now is overwrited with new one).

For upgrading only upload these files:
+ ewriting.php
+ ewriting.html.php
+ com_ewriting_settings.php

After uploadonig you have to edit your configuration again.
