The second anniversary of this place has arrived so quick. And as usual, with a template change. The projects have grown significantly in these two years, and all this thanks to a big amount of people that has supported them and helped in their development. So let's make a resume. Thanks to:
- Missus Test Team that have endured the development process, betatesting my experiments and making remarkable suggestions to make Missus a great PMS.
- eWriting Test Team that have supported me to move forward in the development of the project when it was in a stuck.
- To all the third party developers that have integrated this projects into theirs.
- To all the translators who have submitted their language files.
- And to all of you who is always supporting this projects.
Ok, no double neither single release this time. It was a headache last year with the double release anniversary. Let's make something simpler. Report of Project Status: eWriting 1.2.2 RC has been sent to Test Team on November 23th, with no reports yet. Or everyone has been really busy with the festivities or everything must be working fine (or they havn't received any mail because of Missus mail bug) I'm trying to make this version as stable as possible since this will be the last one for Joomla 1.0.X. Due to the upcoming Joomla 1.5 version and all the changes involved in the codebase, I've taken a hard desicion: I'll recode the whole eWriting from scratch for Joomla 1.5. I thought at first I could do it to support J1.0.x and J1.5, but it's impossible. It would only make the code messier than it is right now. And I think the new Joomla deserves a new eWriting. I would appreciate any kind of help for this major step, testers and coders are welcome. Missus 1.1.1 Beta is about to be released to Test Team with some little improvements and all the reported bugs fixed. I suppose this will be the last Missus version for Joomla 1.0.X, it just needs some little touches to make it work with Joomla 1.5, so it'll be a light transfer from one to the other. Happy Annyversary!
And by the way, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Hannuka, Happy Mother Earth Day and if I forget any festivity, I wish you to be happy on that day too.
Cheers! BTW, Do you like the boxes? ^_^
